Two-Thousand-Year Old Terracotta Warriors Unearthed





A visitor looks at the terracotta warriors unearthed during the first excavation from 1978 to 1984 inside the No.1 pit of the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses, on the outskirts of Xi'an, Shaanxi province, June 21, 2010. The famous warriors date from over 2,000 years ago, and were first unearthed in 1974 and are considered to be one of the most important archaeological finds of recent times.
